Historical Church Street Station - Originally built around Orlando's busy train depot, this restored station is now home to old-fashioned bars like Rosie O'Grady's Good Time Emporium.
The restoration designers paid a great detail of attention to historical
accuracy and detail. The Train Depot is listed in the National Registry of
Historic Places and contains numerous historical artifacts, including "Old
Duke", a steam locomotive that was in the movie "Wings of Eagles" with
John Wayne. Orange County Regional History Center - Preserving America's history for over half a century, the Orange County Regional History Center is home to over three stories of permanent exhibits that take you back in time 12,000 years in our past to discover the area's first settlers, and up through the near-present. The History Center also showcases many
popular traveling exhibits that have been shown around the world. |
