Martha's Vineyard - Dining |
Dining in Martha’s Vineyard is interesting. Because of the “dry” laws, you can’t get alcohol in many of the restaurants. In fact, many of the finest dining venues allow you to BYOB. There is lots of fresh seafood to be had though, and the chefs are outdoing themselves in new and exciting ways to prepare it. Beach Plum Inn & Restaurant—If you want a gorgeous view of the harbor at sunset this is the place to go. They serve lots of grilled entrees and of course seafood. The menu is select but very classy.
Beach Plum Inn & Restaurant David Ryan’s Café & Restaurant—This restaurant has a full liquor license, making it a popular place indeed. They serve American cuisine, with sandwiches and burgers being the favorites.
David Ryan’s Café & Restaurant LeGrenier French Restaurant—With a name like this, you’d expect it to be owned by a French chef and you would be right. This is the oldest chef owned restaurant (over 30 years) on the island, and still going strong. In true French fashion, you can enjoy all the classics in an intimate candlelight setting.
