Typhoon Lagoon

After a hurricane that hit Central Florida, this once-peaceful little getaway is now strewn with wreckage of boats thrown through rooftops, surfboards into trees, and even a shrimp boat perched upon a peak of a volcano.

Left in the storm's aftermath are rivers, rapids, and waterways.

Typhoon Lagoon is home to one of the world's largest wave pools, the Surf Pool, Humunga Kowabunga, three side-by-side, enclosed 214-foot drops, take an inner-tube filled drop down Mayday Falls, one of the longest waterslides in the park, or kickback, relax, and float gently down Castaway Creek.
