Performing Arts Atlanta Ballet -- Performs at The
Fox Theatre four or fives times a year. Atlanta Opera -- Typically held at the Fox Theatre and
usually conducted by William Fred Scott. Atlanta Symphony -- The regular Master Season
performances of this award-winning group take place in Symphony Hall in the
Woodruff Arts Center complex. Still, there are plenty of other places to see the
Symphony throughout the year, including the Summer Pops series backing up
big-name entertainers at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre, and free Summerfest

Capitol City Opera -- Since it began in 1983, Capitol City Opera has gone from a small group staging just a few productions each year to what is probably the most active opera company in the state of Georgia, producing works almost every day of the year that include about three main shows, a summer show at Callanwolde Arts Center, a weekly restaurant series, over 150 opera shows for kids, and more.
